So I just recently moved to this state for work related reasons. What /out/ activities are there in this state. I'm in the clark county area. I'm also interested in urban legends and spooky creatures besides area 51 ayy lmao ayy lmao if anyone has anything.

Valley of fire.
Kayaking up the Colorado river on the north side of lake mead has some amazing cave systems.
A lot of stuff hasn't been seen since the damn was built because the reservoir is at an all-time low.
Ski resort at my Charleston is the most ghetto resort I've ever seen, but its there and they're expanding. Plus its only 45 minutes from the strip.

about 8-12 months ago there was a great 2spoopy4me thread from a guy in nevada who went to an abandoned mine/cabin with just his dog and ar. i remember he drew a map with a fallen tree as a landmark. maybe someone has screengrabs?

My mom's side of the family lives in the Carson reno area. Visited Nevada for a week or two every summer.

The ghost towns are fun as he'll in my opinion. And some of the old western towns that are still preserved. Definitely a bit touristy, but I find it full of history and culture.
