the first book "hatchet" makes you feel very confident in the ability to survive with just a hatchet, the way Gary wrote it is wonderful.
very inspiring and it makes you want to do it yourself

PLEASE read it the first time. its much better, and gives you that confidence i was talking about, more visualization with reading
"brians return" seems a little farfetched in some parts of the story it's still a good read none-the-less
the ending to brians return leaves you with more to be desired and a slightly bland ending.
you will wish that there was more closure and a loving scene between the two lads
brians winter is pretty decent i like it myself. very comparable to the first book hatchet.
the very first book makes it seem like you could actually take on the woods with just a hatchet, the same goes with brians winter.
9/10 already read it again....and again...
