Any other bass fisherman out there? If so what lures do you guys use that you just keep coming back too?

awesome that i came across this, never been bass fishing before (just regular put a worm on a hook and cast it out catching whatever)

Friend recommended me quite a few baits to try out.(pic related)
Any tips when it comes to using said baits? i've been watching youtube videos trying to get the hang of it...going Thursday morning.

Bingo!
Bass are stupid and will have a go at a spoon tied to the end of your rod. But this little gem is what i use too.

Yeah you got yourself a hard bait,spinner bait(which is the one on top with silver and red worm) they work pretty well, you just gotta learn how to reel them in, watch a few youtube videos, its pretty simple and effective

Plus you can't keep minnows in your trunk all summer so you can go fishing on a whim.

And a small lure kit suited to 90% of gamefish/lakes/weather conditions/feeding patterns is a lot more convenient to pack when canoeing or hiking.

plastic worm, texas rig.

colors depend on weather, water conditions, time of year, etc. good old spinner baits are great. and love buzz baits when they're hitting top water. nothing more fun than that.
