I got one at that time when you could get one for $50. I can't stand military surplus stuff because of the look but this is a great pack especially because it comes with a dry bag liner and you can carry tons of stuff comfortably. I actually thought about using a cloth paint/dye and just paint it a different color cause I hate mil surplus so bad.
