I was about a mile or two in on a trail that as running parallel to bluffs. Something kept huffing, sounded A LOT like a big cat snorting air. So I yelled HEY so it knew I was close and would hopefully go away. I was pretty nervous 2bqh.
I heard the noise again and yelled HEY GO AWAY and it actually started coming down the bluffs toward me. At that point I just yelled really loud and then it went away. It sounded just like this so I'm pretty sure it was just a whitetail snorting at me

After that I decided to head back up the trail when I heard what sounded like something knocking over a huge dead tree. I yelled at it and further up the trail something pooped where I had walked before. It was huge turds and had fur in it so I know it wasn't deer, rabbit, etc. I got a pic of it's tracks. Will post in a sec.
I'm guessing either bobcat or possibly mountain lion because there have been sightings out here.
