Hello, /out/, /k/ommando here.

I am 19, out of shape, and fairly fed up with the modern world. Don't get me wrong, i like my iPhone, AC, electricity, etc., but i feel like i need to get away.
A location is scouted, and i plan on building a shack there and living off the land for awhile. "Drop off the map", If you will.
I need advice on how to build a shack similar to pic related, how to cure meat with salt and store it, make lye soap, things like that.

I know how to hunt, fish, dress game, a few basic plants to eat and not eat. like i said, i need advice and it will be appreciated. Feel free to share stories or anything related.
