growing lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, and beets doesn't require a technical degree in botanics. just go to a local book store and look for books on effective backyard gardens. try it out a few times before you settle yourself "ready" for if or when SHTF.

Prepping is a fantasy, its basically larping. I think sustainable living is a good goal, and "nomad" living or "survival" are all /out/ related.

I consider myself a prepper, because I save for the boat to Cuba when the US goes belly up. but I consider my outings abd self sustaining to be my hobby.
