I need some recommendations for new boots. I am going to be doing some hunting in a couple of weeks out of state and need some new ones. I am looking for something warm and waterproof.

Anyone have something they would recommend?

Go get fitted. Nothing will get you a better boot than telling someone knowledgeable what you're using it for and trying on four or five different options. It also keeps bored retail slaves from killing themselves

Agreed. I always thought I wore a 13 but a 12 wide is actually a much better fit. Its like night and day, these boots fit perfectly. Try to find a Red Wing store or a local brick and mortar shoe store.

Ive had extremely good luck with my zamberlan boots. $300, ive gone about 200 miles in them and theyre still comfy and waterproof

I've got a pair of Meindl Vakuum GTX 3, about $315 but got them as a donation to my unit

They're pretty damn comfy, and even after a night of rucking nearly 35km I didn't have any blisters, and the shoe held up perfectly fine

They're also waterproof which is nice

I second this. If you have wide feet, have them stretched, they run narrow.
