But that's not the point. Look at the angle and shot placement. The deer was either right below him or bending down to eat. Anyone who knows anything about hunting knows that headshots are a BIG FUCKING NO.

Because, compared to people, deer have small brains and large sinuses, so an arrow to the face or small caliber bullet to the face is much more likely to deflect away from critical structures, and merely maim the shit out of a deer, than it is to hit them in the brain.

Their brains are just too small and just to well protected to make a good target (unless you are behind and above, and can aim at the back of their heads).

Deer have big bony heads without much vitals in them. You aren't really going to do any damage, especially with smaller calibers, and ESPECIALLY with arrows. Like, if that person was aiming for its head, they are a full blown retard.

That's pushing it bro. I can only think of a few situations where they might be a nuisance, but most times you can take preventative measures.

I agree shot placement on that thing is fucking retarded. I've had a friend shoot one in the head but it was accidental. He was on ground level with it and shanked the arrow. Stories like this make the majority of hunters look bad.

Deer have the intelligence and emotional development of a four year-old human. Hunters who kill them are, basically, all fuck-heads. Killing them very-quickly means you're much better at causing harm to their families, instead of them, personally.

Eating meat is kinda fucked-up in the first place. But deer are on the wrong side of somewhere between cows and pigs (cows being the low end, and pigs being the "basically, you don't mind murdering little kids for the sake of the kids themselves--but because their parents are adults").

I'm not really sure how you came up with any of that. If that were the case wouldn't you think you would at least hear of them displaying those characteristics? Lets pretend for a second that you're right. Why are they not domesticated? They have the emotions and intelligence to know that some humans can be trusted. Why don't they use tools? Even monkeys do that. Why don't they mourn the loss of the dead? Why havn't they been taught a way to communicate with humans? It's sad that there are people out there who honestly believe that animals are like children. What do I know though? I'm just a fuck-head who's lived in the woods their entire life.

Not really, in rural Virginia I knew old ladies who had to start shooting deer that were destroying their gardens. When a deer population swells to a large degree, they can be very annoying to anyone trying to grow anything. It's also not unheard of to be charged by a buck, which is a dangerous thing to happen.

also, if you know as fact you can get a head shot there is nothing wrong with it. the reason head shots are so frowned upon is because most hunters, regardless of what they think, suck at shot placement. if you can nail in tacks at 100 yards, go for the head shot. if your some fuddy piece of shit who shoots 5 rounds at the 20 yard range to sight in your scope and that's it, go for vitals
