I'll weigh in with what I have and the fact that I would not recommend it.
>Big Agnes Copper Spur UL 2
The "2" is pretty generous, unless it's someone you are very comfortable with. Even then, I spent a weekend in it with my gf and it was too much proximity all the time.
It held up all right. I lived in it for half the year, and it was constantly exposed to sunlight, but the rainfly hasn't disintegrated yet. It hasn't seen much rain, though, so I don't know how waterproof it still is.
Main reasons I didn't like it is that for the weight savings, the materials are pretty flimsy. All four of my zipper sliders broke (again, though, over 6 months, and I was lazy about cleaning the zipper), there are a few holes in the floor I need to patch (tenacious tape and aquaseal when I'm not too lazy) and the fly also got torn up a fair bit, mostly in places that don't matter. The worst was that over time the fly kept getting caught in its zipper, and over time got ripped pretty bad (mostly because I was not patient when waking up having to shit really bad).
I went with it largely because it was so much lighter than most of its competitors (except the Hubba Hubba, which was comparable), but if I knew then what I know now I would have bought something cheaper and maybe stouter and not worried about the extra pound or two. If I want to go lightweight I'll use a tarp-bivy system or something.
On the plus side, Big Agnes has good customer support. I called them, and though repairing the zippers would have been cheap (other than having to ship my tent), I told them I preferred to do it myself and they mailed me the sliders for free.
tl;dr Don't buy the Big Agnes Copper Spur, unless you get it on closeout or a prodeal or something. It would be a great $250 tent. It is not a great $400 tent.
Lately I've been going to a website called Outdoor Gear Lab to read their reviews. They seem pretty comprehensive, so that might be a good place to check out.
