I haven't posted on /out/ for a good while now but I've hit a hole in my knowledge and need some advice.
I usually take a bio-ethanol stove on my wild camping ventures in Scotland, and I made the mistake of doing just that last February. Basically it wouldn't alight and I had to cut my trip short.
I'm looking to fix that mistake this year but the options are a bit overwhelming. From what I can see if I want a stove for winter camping (0 to -15degrees) you should go with a propane/butane mix gas stove? But most mix cannisters don't even say what % mix they are.
Can anyone more recommend a reliable cold weather backpacking stove that's cheap and available in the UK? Thanks lads.
