>>924165Idk what your budget is and what brands you get. A good starter setup would be a medium weight rod with a ~3000 size reel. In the pastebin, I say a 6'-7' rod, so probably 2m in Yuro and it will probably say "Medium" on it with a reccommended line weight of 6lb-12lb (3kg-5kg?) and then get some ~4kg monofilament line for the reel. If you can find Shimano Sienna or Abu Garcia Cardinal reels, those are both decent reels that run ~$30 here and are great to start with. If you see the Sienna or other Shimano spinning reel you like, 2500 would be a good size for a 2m Med rod and 4kg line. For the Abu Garcia reels, the 30 size is good.
Rods are preference. You can get away with a cheap one to start until you figure it out. If you see a rod+reel combo that comes in at the right size, just grab that because you will save a little money and it will be matched up properly.
A setup that size will work well for everything from 200g panfish up to 4kg+ carp or whatever you have over there.
But honestly you should try and find a good local bait & tackle shop. They will know what fish are around, where to catch them, and what to use.
