They're overpriced for the materials they use but they're well designed and come with good sheaths and carry systems, unlike many knives.
Dont get carried away by the warranty, and forget about it if you're not american. The number one thing that can happen is that you lose it, not that you break it.
Many many high end knives come with the same warranty, they just dont publicize it as much.
The coating on ESEE knives is shit. Like sandpaper, but the edge angles are good and the knives tough.
I find them quite uncomfortable in the hand, as they dont round the scales and feel very flat.
Also there's this that has just come out. Take a look before you buy the regular 6, costs 140 at knifecenter.
