Second, puke and go to the hospital.

Third, never eat anything you find just lying around again. I mean look at it this way you wouldn't just eat a burger you found lying out in the middle of the trail.

if op cooked the squirrel, the worst he's looking at is slight poisoningchance from toxins left from bacteria . Any parasites would have been cooked, and been edible. It probably would taste of ammonia, but some people like that.

Would you guys drink milk left in the pantry unrefrigerated? How about meat left out for a month?

The point is, if the bacteria are killed, then there's little risk of eating it.
