I think I would prefer a monocular. Everytime I use binoculars to look at something in the distance, when I remove them from my face, my eyes are looking in two different directions and it takes a few seconds for them to return to normal. And during that time everything looks fucked up and spinny. I definitely vote for the monocular but I don't own one.
