Hey guys, anon from /v/ here, but recently I've been playing a lot of Day-Z, and by a lot, I mean a LOT!
I know this might sound silly but I actually learnt quite a bit from the game and (please don't judge) think that I have the survival skills to live in the wilderness.

Anyway, in a week I'll be leaving for a trip to Alaska, by myself, where I'll attempt to sleep outside for a few days (maybe 7?). I live in Montana so cold isn't too much of an issue for me but I still need some advice.

So, what tent, fire, knife etc should I bring? It needs to be cheap (I have a $100 budget) and needs to be of high quality.
