That said, the whole knife is literally 5 pieces (blade, handle, pivot pin, inner, and outer collar). They're light, the handles are ergonomic, and the blades have amazing geometry (2mm convex grind, or even thinner) - very easy to sharpen, and Opinel's carbon steel is roughly equivalent to 1095. The stainless might be 12c27 or equivalent, but i'm not positive on that.
All in all - very good knives to throw somwhere in your kit and use around the camp whenever pulling out a 4'' fixed blade would be overkill.
Unless you fancy spending close to a 100 bucks on a GEC (or 60 at least, for a bullnose), you'd be very hard pressed to find a better performing production folder.
