Mine's the ResQLink, not the + flavor. Don't really need it to float for what I do, rather have a smaller device.
My FAK is pretty basic - don't need a whole lot. Avoid taking a bunch of shit "just in case", especially if you don't know how to properly and safely use it. No first aid is better than bad first aid in a lot of cases.
Get the training. FA/CPR is cheap and easy, maybe $40 and half a day of your time.
Vetwrap, athletic tape, nitrile gloves, ibuprofen, alcohol pads, neosporin (rotate that out so it's fresh), CPR mask, dental wax, trauma shears, bandages, and gauze are about all I take for dedicated first aid stuff.
I've improvised for other stuff - motorcycle tube for a sling, for example.
