>>954283Dunno what exactly you're trying to track but for me the fitbit charge hr or charge 2 is enough. Steps, estimate of distance, but the most important thing is it takes your resting heart rate every day for you so you can see your progress getting in better cardiovascular shape. Also let's you know when you're over training if your resting rate starts to climb.
I also use a chest strap some times if I want a real accurate heart rate since no wristworn device is very good for that. Mostly for easy/long/recovery runs.
