Permethrins have broad spectrum impacts, and its low log(Kow) value means you'll lose a lot of it to rain and introduce it to the waterways of wherever you camp.
As the other anons have said, it probably won't help keep bugs off you, and you'll be doing your part to fuck up nature. Pesticides can screw up drinking water in concentrations of ppm or ppb, and can screw up the environment in concentrations less than that. Don't use this shit unless you absolutely have to.
