I am going to take a short hike in a state park with some fags from school. My prof recommend us taking a PBJ sandwich. Should I put a metal lunch box inside my hiking backpack or should I just keep it in a sandwich bag?

Not OP but i'very been considering upgrading from shifty plastic tuperware to a metal sandwich/lunchbox for work. I'm a forester so I'might normally working out of a vehicle so weight isn't a huge concern. I don't really wanthink a steel ammo box though before anyone says, seems like overkill. You guys got any suggestions?
