I'm sorry, really sorry, to create yet another gear thread.
However, this is the gear thread for people who don't want the latest/greatest/snazziest/ultralightlowimpactamazinggoodlookingrucksack.
I just want a fucking backpack that works. Preferably, mil surp (and honestly, from any country-not just US). It's cheap and proven.
However, there are alot of choices, and I'd love to avoid an ALICE/External frame pack.
Pick related is what I'm looking for, but I don't know what it's called. Not huge. Used mostly for 2-3 overnights, occasionally a week trip.
