The concept is really neat, but what your problem is you're putting them on a flimsy knife

For $30, they're not that badly priced. I'd consider it if I didn't have a Mora already

I don't think there's anything overrated about it. Mora makes no pretense; it's just the best quality knife (that is widely available) you can get for the price.

It's a neat gadget and while I'd prefer the handle not have that wholly decorative hole in it,
at under $30, I think I'll pick one up for my nephew as a gift, when he graduates from Webelos
to Boy Scouts.

But in the proper tacticool grey / black color scheme, not gay neon.
