It would certainly be beyond incredible to see these ecosystems in pristine conditions and knowing that nobody else has documented such a place, but holy shit would it be miserable. Even with all the comforts and advantages today, tropical rainforests are very uncomfortable and dangerous places, and the novelty of being "first" gets heavily outweighed by the advantages of modern travel
