>>982851>>982825Take this with a grain of salt, but this story (or summary of a story) came from a very trusted mentor and former supervisor.
I worked in a trail crew for the USFS for 4 seasons. A coworker from Range, a very respected old dude, told us two stories. He told us about the Great Basin Bigfoot and two UFO sightings in Montana.
For the former, he was camping near a lake, and was woken up by what he describes as the most inhuman, terrifying sounds no animal could replicate. He says he had never heard of anything like in this life, and this man had been working for BLM and USFS all his life. He says it was NOT a bear, not a mountain lion, not anything else. It sent chills down his spine. At the agency he was working at the time, and prior to that assignment that led him to camp overnight by the lake, his coworkers warned him to "watch out" for the Great Basin Bigfoot as a joke. Who knows what it was, but he was damm sure it couldnt have been a local animal. Who knows what he heard.
In Montana, he saw two UFOs. One was a flashing orb light that pulsated and changed colors while remaining absolutely still and quietly above him. Said it was huge. Then, just as quickly as it appeared, it disappeared by moving impossibly quick up into the sky. The second UFO sighting happened while he was overlooking a valley, he said he saw a colossal cigar shaped figure move slowly across the valley, but he noticed this because it was camouflaged sort of how you see in the Predator movies the alien be camouflaged. He said it was absolutely quiet.
Anyways this man was a mentor to me and I do not believe he would have any reason to lie about such things. Very interesting stories.
To answer OPs question, I dont know, but there are some interesting videos on youtube and an excellent documentary on elves and gnomes in Iceland.
