also kek, I forgot that your generation never goes outside and is afraid of nature. Among real adults, wildlife photography is one of the most common reasons to want a camera, and you need zoom for that. I'll bet you don't own a pair of binoculars either.
A $200 pocketzoom is better for wildlife photography than a $2,000 camera that can't zoom. Just like a $20 pair of binoculars is better for viewing wildlife than using your naked eye.
