that's not a crazy expectation. you could still be on the same side of the rail and remove it from frame simply by walking close enough. but also cutting the rail out is a completely different pic. i'd suggest simply stepping closer to reduce the foreground pavement

I did NR to a batch of photos and didn't realise I had done it to this copy of the original photo. By the time I was editing it, I just said fuck it and added grain back to it. It's just me being a retard.

XT-2s can be found cheap. The F2 primes are really good and compact.

This is the fuji I would get, I like the 3 axis tilt. Shooting waist level on the screen has become one of my favorite ways to shoot lately.

yeah, used to be just a resolve plugin, now they have a standalone dehancer film app/ps plugin - dont even have to have lr/c1, theres a .exe that you can just drag and drop your tiff/jpeg files in, if youre on windows. works pretty good and looks even better. i do recommend you do the basic edits in lr/whatever, then crush the image a bit so theres no 0% shadows and 100% highlights (with curves/levels)

I tried using the LR plug in, but it just caused my laptop to lock up every time I opened it. I'm not sure what the problem is. I'll look into the stand alone version.

well, the standalone thing is the lightroom plugin, you just dont use the lightroom external editor feature, you just export and drag and drop the file on your own - if it locks up your pc check the settings, if you have the correct gpu selected (you can do that without importing a file, just launch the dehancerlightroom.exe or whatever its called)

It doesn't have a dedicated gpu, so just the one in my processor, which is intel based. It says explicitly that intel HD and Iris graphics aren't supported. I have arc graphics, but I assumed it's not supported either based on it locking up completely when I tried to run it.
