Something as minor as a sponge being realistically soft or sharpened and jaggy can change the mood of something. Or someone's wrinkles and facial hair.
A shitty camera has its place in art. Someone has to get that effect somehow and scaling nice cameras down with the ISO cranked doesn't actually turn them into shitty cameras. Terry knew this but /p/ can't accept that it isn't a dichotomy and a GFX just captures color and detail better.
