In fact, developing a digital raw file is a much more elaborate process that challenges your understanding of everything technical about photography, as well as your artistic vision.
By comparison, shooting analogue is like snapping jpegs with your smartphone.
You simply press the button, apply a preset (film) and maybe move a couple of sliders (exposure, burn/dodge) and that's it, you're done.
Very few analogue shooters go beyond that, and most don't even develop film themselves, so their entire involvement in the process is simply pressing the button.
