>>2946707Find an astronomy club some place near you see if you can hang out with someone from the club maybe they have a loan a telescope program I think my Astronomy club is the only club that will allow people to barrow a telescope for up to 4 weeks all they want is a photo id and where there telescope will be at and families are welcome to barrow the club telescopes to see if astronomy is right for them.
I dunno how good their loan telescopes are but I know they do have dobs and they have this Celestron NexStar 8 SE I saw it at a club meeting man I feel in love with that telescope go figure attend your first club meeting and they have 2 telescopes to show off!
The next meeting I attended I decided I was gonna join had no Idea I was gonna be leaving that night with a $400 GoTo mount.
