A friend shot that of me at Speedweek while I was shooting the staging area. If you ever visit, especially during Speedweek, also do the Wendover Air Museum. All of the B-29s we modified for carrying the atomic bomb were done here and the bomb was tested in almost every aspect right up until the nuclear fissile material at this location, that test was codenamed Project W-47. There was a lot of training done here for the upcoming invasion of mainland Japan as well.
The only other place in the world with a bomb loading pit for the atom bomb was the two at the island of Tinian where they left for Japan to drop it.
Salt Flat Cafe nearby has good Mexican and Carmen's Black and White Bar was a hoot as well, Speedweek does a huge party there during the first weekend of racing.
