Ibis is not going to help you in the vast majority of the night shots you're looking for. I don't know if you're too lazy or too afraid to use a tripod but for night shots like that only trying to rely on ibis is going to be incredibly frustrating if you find scenes that you're at 1/30, iso 6400 and still need another 5 stops or so exposed. If you used a tripod you could easily lower the iso and drop down to a 6 second exposure and easily manage whatever scenes you may find instead of ever having to worry about coming close to the limit of ibis being able to help you handheld at 1/30 and increasing the iso to compensate or having to 'push clarity backwards as a kind of pseudo-denoise.'
Even if ibis was eight times as effective as it was now it still wouldn't be enough to compensate if you wanted to stop down further to maintain a wide depth of field depending on the scene
