>>4078634Yeah the reason I even tried aperture priority is cause I was talking with a friend's dad who is a professional graphic designer/photographer, and he said he uses aperture priority because the way he uses it, it's basically auto but your photos come out better. I will however stop using manual and use program/shutter priority.
And for the hyper retarted setup, I believe that came from when I first started shooting with a Rebel T3 and the stock lens, but I was my high school's yearbook photographer, and I really didn't like the high grain of the photos so I always tried to keep the ISO as low as possible while keeping the shutter speed high (enough to capture people quite literally running around), which resulted in me growing accustomed to wide open apertures and not knowing/liking smaller apertures.
