I almost considered trading all my Pentax gear in for a Nikon D500 because I was seeing all kinds of great results from other systems shooting wildlife and I have made decent shots but lots of misses and wished my AF performance was better and I had better access to faster super tele lenses.
Glad I didn't, because Pentax ergonomics and customization is top tier and just buy investing in a really nice piece of glass (new macro lens) I got some great results with proper lighting and technique.
Also coming to the realization that lots of images must be sharpened to hell and I was worried why some of my shots weren't and that gear only goes so far if you can't process your photos well.
It's probably not always greener on the other side.

I bought a new lens and have been shooting again for the first time in a year so I don't have much else in the way of recent shots to post
