I'm going to take a break from the Velvia posts and do something really different.
These are a few I shot back in April, when I took an emergency trip out to Pennsylvania to see my grandfather while he was in his final trip to the hospital. The weather was mostly gloomy and spring has not arrived yet. Every day I rode my bike down to the hospital and took some different routes back to his home on a dirt road. I don't really know what to do with these but I'm going to dump a few here.
This is a landscape I hold dear to me, where I spent many summers as a kid. But I never really visited it this time of year, between seasons and not really all that beautiful. It was even hard to feel some of the nostalgia. While I've never lived there, it was always a spot that could be called "back home" where I was welcome by relatives (and on this trip even a very nice guy from /p/).
