>>4371758considering it but do you know that guy? i feel a bit weird writing to him like hey this guy on 4chan told me youre the polaroid guy
>>4371840right now i'm requesting receipts from the sites where i bought it, and i'm trying to have a look at some Arakis that are certifiably real to compare them. honestly i dont think the 500€ or so i spent on them is worth the protracted legal battle, i'm keeping the items for now anyways since it's evidence. maybe once this has found its conclusion will i message the seller and ask for my money back, idk. i'll definitely report it to the police. a close friend of mine's significant other is a LEO so he'll probably be able to tell me where to go with that. i also know some people in the "art world" (i used to work as a grunt at a gallery and am on good terms with some appraisers). considering the bulk of (presumably) fakes that are being sold on ebay i'm sure some of it made its way to galleries and auction houses and i wonder if they know something.
so for now i'm in the prep phase, probably gonna be a while. i'm just gather anything i got, receipts, images, documents, screenshots and links to where these fake polaroids are being sold and why i (basically) know they're all fake.
while it's "just polaroids" that's probably exactly why it works so well. it's small items, nobody makes a fuss. but considering the amount they're selling even right now i'd assume whoever is the original source of the polaroids is they're making north of 50k a year off those, maybe significantly more, with negligible production costs. not exactly a trivial offence, so the popo might actually give a shit. i know they have a art theft department where i live.
im boutta send the glowies on this cocksuckers tail
sorry for my shitty ESL english. pic is of the artist and a model. not one of mine
