I'm in a slump. I'm trying to pull myself out of a depression and not having much success. I'm too broke to hire a model now (covid and other issues hit me hard) and so I struggle with approaching someone for doing a shoot idea.
I enjoy sharing the photos I have taken but I dont enjoy putting in the work to growing my Instagram. It's too much of a hashtag and shadowbanning war. Also an overly saturated market. I'll eventually take some new shit though.

What part of the natural frequency separation are you talking about?
As far as lighting advice goes, I'd say try a bunch and see what you think works best in that moment. Sometimes we get too excited to try a lighting set up that we forget it might not work on the subject/vibe/set up.
