That being said, there are more reasons to carry a heavy camera rather than just the flexibility of using different lenses. The ergonomics, responsiveness, the larger sensors and the experience of using a camera wether it's a DSLR, a mirrorless, a TLR or whatever you choose is part of the charm. It's a hobby, so find what you like to photograph and once you know what your needs are pick your gear accordingly.
