one of the most common exercises in photography courses used to be the graveyard field trip where amateurs could practice on angles of fixed subjects with an easy but direct narrative behind them.
The dead don't rest nor give two shits about your ethics, it's up to the specific cemetery regulations and most of them are fine with it if you're respectful.
