>>3414650I finally did my first short film earlier this year (still related) and, even though the result isn't especially remarkable in any way, I guess the direction went alright considering my utter lack of practical experience beforehand. It got accepted into two festivals on FilmFreeway, which was pretty neat. If gear also counts as an accomplishment then I've upgraded from a really old and technically outdated Lumix GF3 to a G80 during the summer, though sadly there haven't been a lot of opportunities to use it lately.
On a slightly less positive note, I've also been struggling with writer's block for my second short to the point of going through three complete rewrites for the past two years. It sucks but I'm guessing it's all part of the creative process?
>>3414651>>3414687>>3414701>>3414703You've all done great, my friends! I'm genuinely happy to see so many anons making and/or accomplishing /vid/ projects, let's hope 2019 gets even better.
