Except that then it leads to shots like this because he got so much acclaim for that tricycle picture and didn't know why so he just thought "Well, I guess people like pictures of vehicles taken from a low angle".
Additionally, the tricycle picture would be basically no different in black and white. The acclaim he gets for it--which I would even say is deserved if he could consistently produce a body of work like that--is entirely for its representational aspects, not its color, which means it's either (a) not at all representative of the work he's supposed to be famous for, so has no place in a discussion like this or (b) the "he's a master of color" argument doesn't really hold much weight and he's just throwing things at the wall to see what sticks.
