Here's my two cents worth on duplicating with a camera. I find a monitor useful for framing, exposure compensation adjustment and as a focusing aid. The camera has to have a 'live' HDMI output as this Sony does, of course. That's a 40+ year old Contax macro bellows/duplicator. Lens is an equally old Yashica 50mm macro. The lens does not communicate with the camera, so the monitor does not display aperture. Camera body can rotate 90 deg.
