>>4130985And since I literally just finished editing this photo, something a little bit closer to home, from the Czech Republic. Im getting a bit tired of these short days so I looked through my archive for some photos from longer days and found this little gem from one evening in May. It was the very end of a very succesful trainspotting trip with a friend of mine, hunting diesel freight in the Vysočina region, aswell as some old electric locomotives on a different railway line not far from this one. Although the majority of the day was quite sunny, in the evening clouds started to approach from the north west. So as we waited for the last train of the day, a late evening freight train from the lumbermill in Ždírec nad Doubravou to the city of Havlíčkův Brod, the situation seemed quite hopeless. But since we werent in a rush, we still climbed on this big ol' tree, awaiting the freight train, hoping for a miracle. And a miracle did happen, whilst there was already a ton of clouds everywhere, some sort of a hole formed on the horizon, near where the sun was. It wasnt 100% sunlight when the train finally came, some clouds were there as the light isnt completly golden, but I think it still counts. :P Either way, makes me miss those golden summer evenings and mornings even more now. :D
