I definitely can take leaf photos, as I have demonstrated.

I used flash on a cable, there's really no other way to shoot this subject in nature (on film) without clamping the leaf on a very still day, and I didn't have a clamp or a still day at the time.
Leaf photos can be challenging, but I persist.
