>>3945453Whenever I get a new camera or lens, I go out and shoot a test roll to see if everything is working. For cameras that means shooting at all speeds and see if focus matches. For lenses, I test close focus, shoot some plants to see if it's sharp, shoot some geometric structure to see if there is distortion and take some photos against the sun to see how well it handes flare.
These rolls are barely worth scanning, but they help me getting used to new equipment.
