Today's bug hunt was pretty sad. They mowed the entire bike path where there was just tons of flowering weeds and other plants. So I only found this lil guy hanging out inside of a rose blossom.
Thinking about making a post on Next Door or something looking for people in my 'hood with awesome gardens who would be pseudofficialy cool with giving me consent to photograph in front of their house. So many people have awesome gardens but it feels really wrong to just start taking tons of pictures with flash right in sight of their window. Could be a nice way to engage with people about pollinator conservation too.
