>>3890626This is the lens roadmap. This is a slightly older one, however.
Apparently, the next "new" lens they're making is a 100mm macro lens of some kind that will fit into the M.Zuiko Pro lineup (as opposed to the current 60mm macro lens that's part of the "Premium" lineup alongside the f/1.8 primes).
This 100mm macro lens is thought to be a replacement to the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro HSM lens that was made for Four Thirds. Apparently, loads of macro photographers kept a hold on these lenses and used the FT-MFT adapters, to get the legendary 210mm 35mm equivalent "reach". The new Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN replaces this lens for FF bodies, but OMDS has their own solution. It's as yet unknown what aperture or reproduction ratio it'll achieve.
The next set of lenses that are allegedly in the pipeline are super bright f/1.0 primes which are believed to be for the 17, 25 and 45mm focal lengths. It's thought that these are currently in a "development hell" as Olympus and now OMDS are struggling to work out how to make the autofocus work with these bright lenses, at least with a satisfactory speed and accuracy.
After these two, it's not known what could come next, but since both variable and constant aperture zooms are listed, these may or may not include IS with Sync-IS which can boost stabilisation up to 6 stops. The new 150-400mm zoom has 6.5 stops of stabilisation with Sync-IS.
