I have the following:

I will be doing more landscape and wildlife photography in the coming years after shooting ~5 years of travel and street. I've found the 24-105 doesn't reach out enough for my needs, and it's kind of shitty desu. I'm thinking about getting a new telephoto, and the Canon 70-300L might be next on the menu after I sell the 24-105L. However, I really enjoy using the a6000 and the mirrorless platform in general. I could stand to get a 24-240OSS/3.5-5.6 or a 70-200OSS/4. Alternately, I could get a convertor for my a6000 and get the 70-300L, saving myself the trouble of getting an a7r. I'm not really into gear much and have been out of the shooting game while i got my master's, so I'm kind of in the dark regarding what's good nowadays.
If I'm willing to spend like <400$ on a convertor, can I get the Canon telephoto glass and still get my money's worth if I want to use the a6000 in a pinch? Is the L that much better than any sony gear I might get? It seems like Canon's behind in the mirrorless game, so should I get ready to future-proof my gear, bite the bullet now, and shell out of the Canon platform altogether, transitioning to an a7r now?
