Both have good reviews with 28mm being better by some standards. I usually shot with Canon’s 18-75mm EF and their nifty fifty 1,8 and always found that 50 was a bit too narrow for my taste but still ok. I usually prefer wider then narrower hence why I’m looking at the 28mm. The small issue lies that 28, although being a budget fe lens, is half as much as the sonys nifty fifty. Is this only because of the wider field or is it overal better in the sharpness and what not to justify its double price? People say it’s the best bang for the buck sony lens.
Has anyone tried both of them? Would you recommend 28mm for casual use?
