I posted about this goddamn shit in another thread. I shot a bunch of HP5+ 400 rated at 1600. I want to push 2 stops in development so that I develop at 1600. I don't have a meter, so the exposures are probably all over the place, being over or under exposed by a stop or two.
I'm a big fan of contrast and dark shadows, but I think the wider margin for error in metering makes me think about leaning toward Rodinal. I'll be scanning them digitally anyway. But then people say pushing with Rodinal is a bad idea, because it will look like your balls. I'm not really sure what they mean.
Should I develop using goddamn Rodinal, or D-76? Those are really my only options in my current location, and they are home brew solutions.
